The easiest but best snack/dessert to have on hand in your freezer this summer. Sub another nut butter for the peanut butter and these are paleo if that’s your thing and they’re gluten free + plant based, so basically you just need these in your life.
Seriously I love having these on hand- they’re a super affordable, healthy dessert to enjoy all summer. You just need bananas, peanut butter, chocolate chips, and coconut oil. Eating healthy and making healthier choices doesn’t have to be super complicated. You don’t need all the extra stuff in order to eat healthier- just real food combined in some fun recipes. I remember being so overwhelmed when I first started trying to eat healthier figuring out where to start and I wish someone had told me to focus less on counting calories/following a specific diet (nothing wrong if that works for you!) and just focus on adding more fruits and veggies into my diet. Don’t over complicate it and don’t forget to enjoy it.
Cut 2 bananas into coins and layer with peanut butter. Make them about 1/2 inch thick. Freeze for an hour then dip in: 1/4 cup of Happy Day Brands Dark Chocolate Wafers melted and mixed with 1 tbsp coconut oil. Dip 1/2 the bananas in the chocolate, sprinkle with pink Himalayan salt, and put back into the freezer for 1 hour. Store in the freezer to have on hand when the sweet craving hits
